Dry, fresh and fruit-forward, Backyard Vineyards 2022 Rosé is fresh and lively with a creamy texture and aromas of tangerine, cherry and white peach.

Winemakers Notes: 92% Merlot, 3% Viognier, 3% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Pinot Noir.
Partial carbonic maceration, the rest of the fruit was foot-stomped and macerated on the skins for 24 hours before being pressed. Fruit picked at lower maturity and lower potential alcohol for a purpose-made rose from beginning to end.

Nose: The use of carbonic maceration on a portion of the wine shows notes of tangerine, red apple and white peach.
Palate: the palate remains fresh and lively with a creamy texture and flavours of strawberry and blood orange
Pairing Suggestions: Fresh summer salad, cheese and charcuterie platters or simply on it's own!
Residual Sugar: 1.0 g/l
